Extreme basketball

Streetball tournaments devoted to celebration of holydays have become a good tradition of our town. During this summer �Antinarkota� project have organized already three tournaments amongst yard teams.

The competition at July, 20 was devoted to celebration of Day of metallurgist.

Unfortunately weather was not quite favorable; not all awaited teams could take part in the competing for the title of the best. But at the same time such weather showed the most dedicated to streetball guys. As organizers, spectators and streetfighters themselves marked the games were really in hard style, explosive tempo that are characteristic features of streetball, saying short games were extreme.

In the sport square  of school � 3 four teams were fighting under heavy rain; �Eagles�, �Kings�, �Sen Dji� and �Invasion�. First were playing guys born in 85-86. Only in overtime �Eagles� could force victory from �Kings� by one point 17:16. (complement of �Kings�; Dmitrii Bogdanov, Max Nikulin, Oleg Agava, Valentin Melnikov; �Eagles�: Max Gaevskii, Sergei Gorbach, Andrei Goreev).

Younger sportsmen (born 87-89) were fighting not less aggressively. Warriors from �Invasion� (Alexandr Basavikov, Arsen Gazimagomedov, Alexandr Kratynskii, Vasylii Gruzinov) won. �Sen Dji� (Anton Kartashov, Vitalii Kucheruk, Alexei Ageikin), the score 19:12.

Winners got prizes; red caps of �Antinarkota� project, honorary diplomas and medals, but the very game has become the best prize for guys.
