Today in our country the theme of a healthy image of life is actively discussed. There are a lot of reasons for it; drug abuse of the teenagers and youth .

Kostomuksha is the youngest and, in my opinion, one of the most interesting and perspective cities in Karelia. Unfortunately, our city faces the problem of drug abuse, which is one of the most important problems in our society. How can we seriously speak about city development, its` future when the health of growing generation is under threat?

Recently it was considered that mostly children from unsuccessful families are subject to drug abuse. But now it is possible to meet young drug addicts from wealthy families. The certain youth style of behaviour is being formed. Often teenagers spend their free time alone and they become interested in testing drugs. And it is fraught with terrible consequences for future of our society. In this situation it is absolutely obvious that diverse forms of preventive measures against drug abuse should be urgently created and developed.

First of all, it is necessary to offer  young people an alternative life style that could interest them. The main objective of �Antinarkota� project, which slogan is �For a healthy way of life�, is a creation of some kind of "fashion" of health, maintenance of image of physically and spiritually healthy person who has an active social position, initiative and enterprise.

Teenagers constantly feel the thirst of new sensations; they would like to try everything. The doctors explain it by virtue of physiological features of the body in transitive age. Undoubtedly, inquisitiveness is the basis of life development. Our project has a task to direct irrepressible energy of growing  generation to a positive channel, to impart them a  taste to a healthy way of life, to find occupation, which would distract the teenagers and the youth from drugs - sports, music, literature, art, tourism and other constructive forms of leisure. We hope for assistance in promotion of our ideas and measures from authorities, public organizations and movements, and also from all indifferent citizens.
